Bulk Billing availiable to

  • Pensioners (all types) including Aged Disability single-parent pensioners

  • DVA (Depertment of Veteran Affairs)

  • Self-funded patients aged 75+

  • Commonwealth Senior card holders

  • Children aged 15 and under


Healthcare card holders will receive $10 off from the above fees.
Commercial drivers licenses applications will be privately billed.
Patients without Medicare are not eligible to receive any rebate.

Making Payments

Payment is required on the day of the consultation and can be made by cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card. All workers compensation and motor vehicle accident patients are required to pay their accounts at the time of consultation until a letter of liability is produced from their insurance company.

Appointments

Our appointment system caters for standard face to face, long face to face, phone consults, skin checks, workers compensation, vaccines and preventative healthcare.

If you need more time with your Doctor, please arrange an extended consultation when booking your appointment.

DNA Policy (DID NOT ATTEND Appointments)

Kelso Medical Group offers patients flexibility when booking or rescheduling appointments. You can cancel or change your appointment without incurring any fees, we simply ask you to notify us within 12 hours of your appointment time. Bookings made online can easily be managed through HotDoc. Missed or cancelled appointments with less than 12 hours’ notice will incur a fee of $50.00. Fees are charged automatically, if you feel you have extraordinary or emergency circumstances, please discuss with your Doctor who will give your matter due consideration.

Our reception staff are unable to make decisions on behalf of the Doctors.

Sometimes GPs are delayed by patients with urgent or complex issues. We apologise if you’re asked to wait and thank you for your patience.
