About Us
Kelso Medical Group has been a cornerstone of the local community since its establishment in 1897 by Dr. Kerr at "Kelso" House on South Terrace, Fremantle. The practice's name honors its historic roots, with Kelso House serving as the original site.
Over the years, the practice has been guided by several esteemed principals, including Dr. Bean, Dr. Ebell, Dr. Hodder, Dr. Reid, Dr. Jones, who joined in 1976, and Dr. Ukalovich, who joined in 1989.
In 1967, Dr. Reid expanded the practice by opening a branch at the Coolbellup Shopping Centre, followed by Dr. Jones establishing the Kardinya branch in 1987 at the Commercial Centre.
Although the Coolbellup branch was closed in November 2006, and the Fremantle practice in 1998, Kelso Medical Group has continued to thrive as a privately owned and managed practice, dedicated to providing exceptional care.
